Then, Michela moved to Regina Elena National Cancer Institute (Rome, Italy), where she worked on the metabolic plasticity and susceptibility to repositioned drugs of breast cancer stem cells and metastases. Since April 2016 Michela joined the Molecular Virology Lab at the Istituto Pasteur Italia \u2013 Fondazione Cenci Bolognetti, where her research is focusing on immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. Her expertise covers molecular and cell biology, more specifically the study of signal transduction pathways and epigenetic regulation.
