John Hiscott, Director of the Pasteur Italia Laboratories
Canadian by birth, he is an internationally renowned virologist and molecular biologist trained in the USA and Europe. Before coming to Italy, he served as Director of the Viral Pathogenesis and Therapeutics Program at the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute of Florida. Prof. Hiscott’s studies focus on the immune response to viral diseases (including influenza and Dengue Fever) and on tumors, for the implementation of anti-tumor immunotherapeutic strategies.
