Researchers from different nations are dedicated to prevention and treatment activities for serious diseases in the following areas:

– Research activities aimed at the study and development of innovative drugs for the treatment of major transmissible diseases of bacterial, parasitic or viral origin, neoplastic diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and diseases of the immune and hematopoietic systems.
– Public Health activities carried out in collaboration with national health services.
– Training activities aimed at both the scientific communities of the various Institutes worldwide and external personnel, technicians and students.
